This is the right thing.  You can set *SHOW-LISP-ERRORS-P* to display
the error to the client, and *LOG-LISP-ERRORS-P* to log them to the
log file.

*HANDLE-HTTP-ERRORS-P* is not relevant here, I think.  At least I did
not intend to modify its behavior.

and try again.
