[hunchentoot-devel] Test for running?

Maybe you are using single threaded SBCL?

Check the *features* special variable, if the
:sb-thread symbol is present - your SBCL
is multithreaded, otherwise it is single threaded.

In case of single threaded, your single thread
is busy by running hunchentoot and REPL is
blocked.
