[cells-gtk-devel] Font Problem

I am running cells-gtk got from the last tarball (or from asdf-install
iirc) on Mac OS X 10.4.8.

When i start test-gtk:gtk-demo the application runs but i see boxes
instead of chars. I tested it either on X11 either on XDarwin with
same results. Other gtk-based applications work well on my systems.
