Not much news, I've been a bit too busy. I did try upgrading to
freeglut-2.2.0 but that didn't help. Running CMUCL through gdb showed
the crash happens in libGLcore so I'm going to upgrade my X, but
that's not a five minute job and I've been putting it off for a while.
