Thanks for the response, Jochen. I'm very happy to hear that the
software hasn't evolved into a corner never to commit again. :) I think
mel-base is an awesome library (thank you!) which worked very well for
me when I reached out for it in June. I see that an improved (shorter)
version of the pull req I submitted to the list was included, and I
agree with your assessment of quicklisp. I just wasn't sure how to
interact with the development; your message clarifies those concerns.
I'm also glad to see the move to git -- I have been moving all my own
stuff off of darcs to git in the past year or so. Your git repo wasn't 
allowing clones, which is ultimately why I posted the above. Could you 
ping the list when you update-server-info on the repo so we can once 
again clone the canon source? Thanks!
