[elephant-devel] confusion

Hi,

while actually trying to start using elephant with bdb, I am quite  
confused.

For now, I am amusing myself filling the store with:

(with-open-store (...)
   (dotimes (i 10000)
        	(ele:add-to-root i (* i i))))

What I do is runing this snippet on the same db over and over again  
always starting lisp  and everything from scratch.

After some invocations I notice that the ondisk size of the db keeps  
growing... Starting from 11MB I quite quickly reach 30MB. What is  
happening? I thought to overwrite old values...

I admit I dont know anything about Sleepycat, so enough reasons to  
get confused...
