Hi Jason,

let us make this officially a test phase! People should download the package
and see whether it fits their needs and works in different platforms. Once
it is working I will include it in ECL as a contrib module, if you do not
mind.

I can give you access to SourceForge if you feel like, but the current
business of maintaining CVS and git repositories for the same project means
patches have to be channeled through a single person (anybody knows a better
solution?). I really do not mind doing that and if you set up your git
mirror properly, patches (using git format-patch) will be properly
identified with your name.

It would also be nice if you could cook up a small docbook description of
the library, for adding it to the manual (
http://ecls.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=ecls/ecl-doc)
