[climacs-devel] lisp syntax bug

Hi,

Start climacs, type "((defun foo)" (without the quotes), put point on
the second open paren, and press backspace.  The first paren is
correctly deleted without trouble.

Now do the same in a fresh buffer in Lisp syntax.  I observe that the
display is wrong: all that happens is that the cursor moves back one
position, but the paren is not displayed as deleted.  (The buffer
clearly thinks of it as deleted, though: pressing delete at this point
has the visual effect of deleting both open parens).
