Sounds good. I'll need your GPG key so I can email you your password. Also, what would you like to name the project? data-calc.lisp is not a great name since it has a dot in it. How about date-calc? (You put data-calc.lisp in the subject but your website says date-calc.lisp.) Thanks, Erik. More about JSON, see this quote from http://www.crockford.com/JSON/: JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a lightweight data-interchange format. It is easy for humans to read and write. It is easy for machines to parse and generate. It is based on a subset of the JavaScript Programming Language, Standard ECMA-262 3rd Edition - December 1999. JSON is a text format that is completely language independent but uses conventions that are familiar to programmers of the C-family of languages, including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and many others. These properties make JSON an ideal data-interchange language. Members: Henrik Hjelte License: I want a very liberal license. I am not very familiar with the different license alternatives. I will choose the Lisp Lesser GPL if you don't have a better advice. JSON plays very nice with javascript, so I think it is a nice addition particularly for web-hackers. The current state is that I have everything needed for a first release, including testcases (in fiveam), but no documentation. By the way I use darcs. (I'm subscribed to cffi-devel, but definitely not the list owner, or even admin.) Is anyone else seeing this? Cheers, -- Nikodemus Schemer: "Buddha is small, clean, and serious." Are you still seeing this? I believe I took care of this issue two days ago. Here's the problem: one of the times clnet went down hard some of the Mailman configfiles were corrupted. I think probably due to a corrupted swap partition but I'm not sure. At any rate, weird things like this (one list "morphing" into another) happened to a dusin or so lists. It should be fine now though, please let me know if cffi-devel is still receiving mail for anaphora-devel or vica versa. Thanks, Erik. The application allows the researcher to carry out Bayesian-based model discrimination analysis. We believe that this tool will be of great interest to the bioinformatics. computational biology, and metabolic engineering communities. We have already published one paper using this approach (http://bioinformatics.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/ abstract/21/8/1668) and have recently submitted another paper for publication. We will be submitting a third paper within a matter of days in which our software is discussed in detail. Ideally we would like to make this software available via the Common-Lisp.net web site. The details requested from the Common-Lisp.net webpages regarding the project are provided below. Name: Lester Vecsey Description: OpenGL Voice over IP application using IAX protocol License: GPL Group members: None Since I already have an lvecsey account set up to manage the cl-libtai project, hopefully there will just be minimal work on your part to open up this project as that account with all its digital keys can simply be reused to manage this project too. Here is a description I have prepared for the index.html page so far: -- iaxphone is an OpenGL voice over IP application utilizing a single UDP port, 4569, to reach an Asterisk PBX using IAX protocol. The IAX protocol is particularly well suited to NAT environments since just this one port needs to be configured and forwarded through as it carries both the channel status and voice data on it. -- Probably over the next days or weeks I'll have some darcs code to make available, and at that point others can assist with providing executable binaries and the like for their Lisp implementation and eventually, more platforms. This project would build upon the existing common-lisp.net projects cffi and cl-opengl Lester From root at common-lisp.net Tue Feb 21 19:44:11 2006 From: root at common-lisp.net (root) Date: Tue, 21 Feb 2006 13:44:11 -0600 (CST) Subject: [admin] added iaxphone; owned by lvecsey Message-ID: <20060221194411.AA1822A035@common-lisp.net> Add successful at 2006.02.21.13.44. Ah, thanks. I had forgotten about your cronjobs. There's something that can be done about it, the old machine is still available to me and will remain so for the next week. I looked but it seems you have already added back your cronjob. (hhubner hadn't, so I fixed his.) Let me know if you find anything else missing and ask me before you go through the trouble of retyping it. :-) Thanks! Erik.
